At a ceremony organised in the company’s headquarters in Postira on the island of Brač, Sardina d.o.o. was presented with the Halal certificate, confirming that our products are manufactured in accordance with Islamic laws.
The Halal certification is applicable to 17 of Sardina’s products: sardines in vegetable oil, sardines in olive oil, sardines with lemon, sardines with chili peppers, sardines in tomato sauce, sardines with vegetables, tuna fillets in vegetable oil, tuna fillets in olive oil, tuna with vegetables, hake à la cod, mackerel fillets in vegetable oil, mackerel provençale, mackerel picnic, fish with vegetables, tuna pâté, sardine pâté, and sea bass and sea bream pâté with truffles.
The “halal” marking on food products guarantees that these products do not contain substances forbidden by Islam.
